The writer in me
Sharing my creative stories for your pleasure
Meet Me
Dear Reader, what a pleasure it is to see you here!
Let me properly introduce myself:
I am Hannah Marie, the author of this blog. Writing is my exhalation of the words swirling in my mind!
I am a Christian who seeks to understand God's will and please Him in all that I do.
I am currently on the path to become a Registered Nurse, as I feel God is calling me to care for people.
I hope you enjoy the compositions on this blog!

How do I start to write?
First Let'sASK
Questions to ask yourself before you write your story:
What do I want to portray to my reader? What is the conflict of the story? What do I want the Climax to be? What is the main character's personality? How should the reader feel after reading this? ex: inspired, touched, angry etc... |
Now let's rollDRAFT
Jot down an outline of your story. This is basically what is happening throughout the whole story. In this, provide character names, all the conflicts, the resolutions etc...
|
finally, let itFLOW
Now you are going to write your story!
Don't stop to think about word choices, just start writing the story! Write write write, and let the words flow! Provide a clear scene each time with descriptive words so the reader can picture the story. After you are done with that, go back through it and clean it up! Use stronger words in place of the words: good, bad, mean, ugly, small, big, interesting, etc... Also, bring emotion or suspense, so your reader wants to keep reading! |
